Idina Menzel’s Hollywood Bowl Show This Saturday Averaging Over $150 on Secondary Market

From Broadway to the big screen, singer Idina Menzel has captivated audiences across the globe since beginning her professional career in 1996. Perhaps best known for her work in Broadway’s Wicked and the blockbuster film Frozen, Menzel will play the final solo show of her World Tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this Saturday, and she’s garnering big ticket prices on the secondary market in the process.

According to TicketIQ the average price for Idina Menzel Hollywood Bowl tickets is now $151.34, placing it among several of her most expensive shows of 2015. Only six other shows averaged a higher ticket price, including her top-priced stop at the Blossom Music Center on August 21 ($222.36 avg.). Hopeful concertgoers in Los Angeles can get in for relatively affordable prices this Saturday, however, as the cheapest ticket is currently $21.

The SoCal stop marks Menzel’s 54^th and final stop along the global trek, which began in Korea back in May. She has hit 10 countries in total over the five-month run, including Japan, Ireland, England, Canada and the U.S. In total, 39 shows in North America were scheduled between July and October.

(UPDATE 7/7/15) Broadway star and singing sensation Idina Menzel kicks off her North American summer tour tonight at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia. 37 shows are scheduled through the beginning of October and ticket demand remains high on the secondary market. The average price for Idina Menzel tickets on TicketIQ over her three-month tour is $147.70.

Starlight Theatre in Kansas City hosts Menzel’s most expensive upcoming show on August 12. The average secondary price for Idina Menzel Kansas City tickets is currently $271.72, 83.9% above tour average, and the get-in price is $155. Other top-priced shows include July 10 at Borgata Events Center ($220.45 avg./$70 get-in), July 24 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre ($215.08 avg./$42 get-in) and August 25 at Benedum Center ($202.42 avg./$146 get-in).

If searching for her cheapest gig, look no further than July 16 at the Mann Center in Philadelphia. Idina Menzel Philadelphia tickets currently own a secondary average of $51.39, 65.2% below tour average, and the get-in price is $28. Perhaps an even better deal comes five days prior at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, where tickets average at $53.29 and get-in price starts at just $6, the cheapest along her entire tour.

The tour officially wraps at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier in Montreal on September 1.

A Look at Idina Menzel’s Average Setlist Ahead of her 2015 North American Tour

(UPDATE 7/1/15) Brace yourself, North America – Broadway’s very own Idina Menzel is bringing her massive 2015 World Tour to the U.S. and Canada beginning next week. 37 shows are scheduled through the beginning of October, and the average price for Idina Menzel tickets is $153.83 on the secondary market.

The tour kicks off next Tuesday at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia. The singer’s most expensive gig comes on August 12 at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, where tickets currently average at $271.72 and the get-in price, or cheapest available ticket, is listed for $155. Other top-priced shows include July 24 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre ($260.09/avg.), July 8 at Hippodrome Theatre ($201.30/avg.) and July 26 at Mizner Park ($194.14/avg.).

Conversely, Menzel makes her cheapest stop on July 11 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Tickets to the show currently average at $64.12 and the get-in price starts at just $8. A July 16 show at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia will be the second cheapest show, with tickets owning a secondary average of $76.02 and the cheapest going for $33.
