Kanye West Hollywood Bowl Ticket Prices Fall 10% Over the Weekend

(UPDATE 9/21/15)   It will be a monumental weekend in Los Angeles as Kanye West will be gracing the stage at Hollywood Bowl on Friday and Saturday night. The rapper will play his fourth studio effort, 808s & Heartbreak, in full during both nights, which celebrates its seventh year of release this November. Fans hoping to attend one of the weekend gigs are encouraged to peruse the secondary market, too, as ticket prices are beginning to fall just four days out.

According to TicketIQ the average price for Kanye West tickets across both Hollywood Bowl shows is now $283.20, marking a 10.4% drop from last Friday’s average of $316.04. His second show on Saturday night is now the more expensive show, with tickets averaging $287.51 and get-in price starting at $76. The night prior, the average secondary market price for tickets is $275.92 and get-in price is $70.

While Yeezy has only announced those two solo shows, he is slated to perform at the Summer Ends Festival in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday. He’ll play there alongside headliners Chance the Rapper and Travis Scott.  His upcoming eighth LP, tentatively titled SWISH, has yet to be given a release date, though is expected to drop before the end of the year.

Kanye West Tickets for Hollywood Bowl Averaging Over $300 on Secondary Market

(UPDATE 9/1815) From declaring his bid in the 2020 presidential election to debuting new songs at New York Fashion Week, Kanye West has made media outlets salivate over the last month. Earlier this month the outspoken rapper announced two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles scheduled for September 25 and 26. There he will play his seminal album 808s & Heartbreaks in full, which has caused ticket prices to reach exorbitant numbers on the secondary market.

According to TicketIQ the average secondary market price for Kanye West tickets across his two-night affair in L.A. is $316.04. His first show on September 25 is currently the more expensive of the pair at an average ticket price of $325 and a $97 get-in price. However, the following night owns the more expensive get-in price at $104 despite having a $306.40 average.

The two L.A. gigs will be held between the “New Slaves” rapper’s appearance at the iHeart Radio and Summer Ends Music Festivals this month. Also featuring performances from Sam Smith, Coldplay and the Killers, the 2015 iHeart Radio Music Festival will be held between tonight and tomorrow in Las Vegas. The Summer Ends Music Festival will see Jimmy Eat World, J. Cole, Big Sean and Chance the Rapper all take the stage across three days in Arizona next weekend.

Kanye West was up to his old habits at the 2015 VMAs this past Sunday, but the outspoken rapper has given fans two new reasons to get excited. The 38-year-old announced last week that he will play his seminal album, 808s & Heartbreaks, in its entirety at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles over two nights - September 25 and 26.

The shows come right in between a slew of festival appearances for the Chicago native. West is also scheduled to perform at Music Midtown in Atlanta, iHeartRadio in Las Vegas and Summer Ends in Phoenix. His final show will be held at Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel on September 30.
