WWE LIVE Tickets at MSG UP 12% In Past Week.
September 29, 2015
(UPDATE 9/29/15) With under a week under Brock Lesnar and WWE invade Madison Square Garden, ticket prices are up 12% on the secondary market from last week. Thanks in part to an appearance by Paul Heyman on this past Monday’s RAW to hype the event, the average price for WWE tickets at MSG is now $126.28, though the get-in price has dropped slightly to $35.
A few changes have been made to the card since last week, including the match between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho now being for Owens’s Intercontinental Championship, push the number of title matches on the card to three. An additional match between Rusev and Dolph Ziggler has also been announced. Appearances are also scheduled for Team Bella, Diva’s Champion Charlotte, Stardust, Kane and Mark Henry.

Previewing The WWE Card and Prices for LIVE at MSG
Just over a week remains before WWE returns to Madison Square Garden. For almost as long as professional wrestling has existed, The Garden has been the mecca of the sport. WWE will be drawing on that history with a show scheduled for Saturday, October 3. While the show is still considered a WWE Live event, it will be blown out as a special event broadcast on the WWE Network.
With the show being broadcast, the card is more than a typical live event would bring. The biggest draw for the show is the appearance of Brock Lesnar, who is scheduled to wrestle The Big Show. This will only be Lesnar’s second live event appearance since his return to WWE, the last being a “Beast in the East” special, which was also shown live on the WWE Network from Japan. Lesnar and Big Show have quite a long history together, combining for one of the most memorable moments in WWE history when a superplex caused the ring to collapse and end a match between the two in 2003.
WWE will also be throwing back to the history of professional wrestling by featuring a steel cage match for a championship title. Seth Rollins and John Cena will again square off for the Unites States championship, in a rematch from Night of Champions.
As WWE is building the show as an important one, tickets are also in high demand on the secondary market. The current average price for WWE tickets at MSG is $112.68 and a get-in price of $38.
Below is the announced card for the event, which currently includes two title matches:
Brock Lesnar vs The Big Show
United States Championship (Steel Cage)
John Cena (c) vs Seth Rollins
Tag Team Championship
The New Day (c) vs The Dudley Boyz
Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho
Randy Orton vs Sheamus
