More than a quarter of the way through the college football season, the playoff picture is starting to form. While some teams have crept into the discussion, others have surprisingly dropped out. This week’s top 5 college football tickets on the secondary market have a mix of both, including two major rivalry games. Below are the five most expensive games in college football this week by secondary market average price.
Oklahoma vs Texas | Average Price: $261.48 | Get-in Price: $117
The 110th installment of the Red River Showdown will be played this weekend at the Cotton Bowl. It will be the most expensive meeting between the two schools since 2012. Despite the relatively high price for Texas vs Oklahoma tickets, these two schools are heading in opposite directions. Oklahoma is ranked in the top-10 in the AP Poll, but Texas is struggling at 1-4.

California at Utah | Avg. Price: $191.63 | Get-in Price: $92
Utah has been one of the surprise teams so far in the college football season. The Utes weren’t ranked in the preseason Top 25, but after a dominant wins to start the season and a 62-20 blowout of Oregon in their last game, they have jumped up to No. 5. Cal is also in the Top 25, which has helped boost prices for Cal vs Utah tickets this weekend at Rice Eccles Stadium.

Maryland at Ohio State | Avg. Price: $176.78 | Get-in Price: $81
The Buckeyes are still the No. 1 team in the country, though they have not overwhelmingly proved their case over the past few weeks. However, there’s not really a contender to overtake Ohio State if the team continues to stay undefeated. That shouldn’t be an issue this weekend against Maryland, though Ohio State tickets will still be quite expensive to see the matchup in Columbus.

Miami at Florida State | Avg. Price: $165.73 | Get-in Price: $94
Miami might not be the college football force it once was, but that won’t stop anticipation for the game deciding the Florida Cup. This game will easily feature the most expensive Florida State tickets this season, as no other game will have an average price above $100 on the secondary market. The Seminoles have won the past five meetings against the Hurricanes.

Georgia at Tennessee | Avg. Price: $165.51 | Get-in Price: $69
Tennessee is going to have a tough time finding more heartbreaking ways to lose games. The Volunteers started the season with high expectations, but three close losses have place the team under .500. Still, Vols fans are coming out to Neyland Stadium, and paying high prices. Tennessee vs Georgia tickets will be the second most expensive in Tennessee for the remainder of the season, eclipsed by a November 7 game against South Carolina
