2016 Bonnaroo Lineup Leaked, Official Announcement Tuesday, Jan. 19
The official 2016 Bonnaroo lineup announcement is not scheduled until Tuesday, January 19, but a leak through the festival's website has revealed quite a few artists scheduled to perform in June. 91 artists were leaked through the app, though no headliners were revealed. However, a report from Consequence of Sound has stated Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem and Dead and Co. will be the weekend's headlining acts.
Pearl Jam has been rumored for a full tour in 2016, but nothing official has been released on that front. LCD Soundsystem just recently announced a reunion, one that was revealed during the Coachella lineup announcement. Dead and Co., the band comprised of Grateful Dead members and John Mayer recently ended a brief arena tour that ran from October through New Year's Eve.
Bonnaroo will take place from June 9 to June 12 at Manchester Farm in Manchester, Tennessee. Considered one of the biggest festivals each year, there is always significant interest in the Bonnaroo lineup and high demand for tickets. Bonnaroo tickets will be put on sale to the general public January 22 at noon EST through the festival's website. The first tier of pricing will cost $324.50 plus fees through the festival's website and only a limited amount will be released at that price point. Tickets then will be bumped up to $349.50 plus fees for the second pricing tier.
Last year Bonnaroo tickets on the secondary market dropped below that price as four-day passes had an average price of $380.63 and a low price of $267. Last year's headliners for the festival included Billy Joel, Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5 and Kendrick Lamar.
Along with the headliners, other artists leaked on the bill include M83, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Death Cab for Cutie, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Third Eye Blind, Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton. J. Cole and Ellie Goulding.
