Dave Matthews Band Plot 25th Anniversary Summer Tour

It has become routine for Dave Matthews Band to pack up the tour bus and jaunt across North America each summer, and the beloved roots rock band will be doing it in celebratory fashion in 2016. The group will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year and has announced an extensive tour through the U.S. and Canada between May and September.

Dave Matthews Band tickets for all dates will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 19 at 12 p.m. local time via Live Nation. Citi cardmembers and members of the group's Warehouse Fan Association can access a special pre-sale between Tuesday, February 16 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, February 18 at 10 p.m.

The tour kicks off on May 11 at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. 46 dates are scheduled through September 4, when it wraps with a third and final anniversary show at The Gorge in Washington. DMB will play consecutive shows in several arenas, including BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Sarasota Springs, New York.

The band is expected to take an extended break from touring after the mammoth summer run, which should encourage fans to see them once, twice or thrice more before they put down their instruments indefinitely.
