Dropkick Murphys Launch 20-Year Anniversary Tour Tonight, Tickets Averaging Under $80 Across Month-Long Run

(UPDATE 2/17/16) Dropkick Murphys will officially begin their 20-Year Anniversary Tour tonight at Cleveland's House of Blues, making the first of 27 stops along a five-week journey that continues through mid-March. The commemorative tour will see the band pull from its extensive catalogue, with songs from 1998's debut album Do or Die to 2013's Signed and Sealed in Blood.
Those who waited on tickets may have been boxed out after several shows sold out, but there is still time to search the secondary market for Dropkick Murphys tickets on the milestone tour. With more than 7,000 tickets available across all dates, the average price for Dropkick Murphys tickets on TicketIQ is now $78.09.

The band will play their most expensive show on February 26 at Electric Factory in Philadelphia, where tickets currently own a secondary market average of $111.80 and the cheapest ticket is $78. Other top-priced dates include February 26 at House of Blues Dallas ($99.20 avg./$59 get-in) and February 23 at The Pageant in St. Louis ($98.95 avg./$86 get-in).
Conversely, it will be a stop at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on February 19 that owns the cheapest average price of the entire tour at $58.03. Interestingly enough, a hometown show at Agganis Arena in Boston on March 19 has the cheapest get-in price at $26.

(UPDATE 12/9/15) The Dropkick Murphys have announced more dates along their 20-Year Anniversary Tour early next year. An additional two shows will be played in Cleveland and their hometown of Boston, boosting the total number of shows to 27 between February and March. Tiger Army and Darkbuster will support at most dates along the month-long trek.

Dropkick Murphys Announce 20-Year Anniversary Tour Dates
Quincy, MA punk rockers The Dropkick Murphys have revealed the initial batch of dates along a 2016 tour celebrating their 20th anniversary. The band will play 25 dates between February and March and the opening acts will be announced at a later date. The sextet is expected to announce more tour dates in the coming weeks as well.
