Raptors, Hornets & Blazers All Look to Advance in Pivotal Game 6s Tonight
April 29, 2016
For three NBA teams, the season boils down to this. A trio of Game 6s will be held across the league Friday night, and the Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers all hope to punch their ticket to the Second Round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs. Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers, look to avoid an early exit and force the opening series to a deciding Game 7.
Fans still looking to attend can find last-minute deals for all three games on the secondary market. The best prices for 2016 NBA Playoff tickets will be in Indiana, while Charlotte and Portland will each offer an average price above $200. Below is a price breakdown for all three games, according to TicketIQ:
Game 6 Toronto Raptors @ Indiana Pacers | 7:30pm | Avg. Price: $126.82 | Get-in: $25
Perhaps the most interesting Game 6 in terms of value will be the Raptors-Pacers game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. In what could potentially be the final game in Indiana this season, it appears that demand is relatively low to be on hand. The average price for Game 6 Pacers vs Raptors tickets is $126.82 - easily the cheapest Game 6 being held tonight. The get-in price for tonight's game is just $25. Indiana is known for its low secondary market ticket prices, however - during the regular season, just five home games owned a get-in price higher than $30. Those games were played against the Bulls, Warriors, Cavaliers, Lakers and Thunder.
Game 6 Miami Heat @ Charlotte Hornets | 8pm | Avg. Price: $267.45 | Get-in: $82
Gabrielle Union made headlines following Game 5 after her social media rampage on the referees in the Heat's 90-88 loss. Miami now has its back against the wall as Charlotte looks to take its first series win since 2002. Anticipation is high for the Hornets to enter the Second Round, and it's showing on the secondary market. The average resale price for Game 6 Hornets vs Heat tickets is now $267.45, making it the most expensive Game 6 on average. The cheapest ticket is listed from $82.
Game 6 Los Angeles Clippers @ Portland Trail Blazers | 10:30pm | Avg. Price: $236.68 | Get-in: $109
Long-term injuries to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have certainly impacted the Clippers, but they'll hope to stretch their First Round series against the Blazers with a win on the road tonight. The West Coast game is garnering a $236.68 average price while fans just looking to get past the turnstile at Moda Center can find tickets from $109. The Blazers could enter the Second Round of play for just the third time since 2000 with a victory.
