The Fray will be back with a vengeance this fall. The Denver-based rockers announced on Monday a headlining tour across North America that will take place between October and November. They'll bring along supporting band American Authors for the 27-date trek through the U.S. and Canada.
That's not all. On November 9 the "Over My Head (Cable Car)" creators will release a compilation album of their greatest hits, fittingly titled Through The Years: The Best of The Fray. The final three tracks on the album will be brand new, just in time for fans to memorize the lyrics before the start of tour. The first new single "Singing Low" is due out on September 9.
The tour kicks off at Moore Theatre in Seattle on October 15 and winds around the country over a six-week period, ultimately wrapping at 1st Bank in The Fray's native Denver. Notable stops include the Masonic in San Francisco, the Wiltern in Los Angeles, Beacon Theatre in New York and Chicago Theatre. The Fray tickets for all shows go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, August 26 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
