Beyonce, Jay Z to Host 'Tidal X: 1015' Charity Show in Brooklyn on October 15

Tidal X: 1015 will feature some of the biggest names in music on October 15 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Benefit organizers Jay Z and Beyonce have recruited top names like Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill, Common, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Nick Jonas and more for the second-annual charity concert in support of the Robin Hood Foundation. The show will stream exclusively on the streaming service, Tidal.

The concert will raise money to support education for New York City children in addition to several other charities proposed by the artists involved, and 100% of all ticket sales will benefit Robin Hood and Tidal supported nonprofit educational organizations.​ The pre-sale for Tidal members began on September 22 at 10:00 a.m. ET, while the general ticket on-sale launched Monday, September 26. Tickets for the Tidal X: 1015 benefit show start at $50 and range in price up to $100,000 for some VIP packages. On the resale market, tickets are averaging a steady $167, with the cheapest ticket priced at $67. With just a few weeks left to go, tickets for this year's event are considerably cheaper than last year's, which averaged $394 on the resale market, with the cheapest ticket starting at $101.

Radio personality Angie Martinez will host the concert, and other artists will perform including TIP, DNCE, Emeli Sandé, Blood Orange, Cipha Sounds, Prince Royce and Salva. TIDAL Rising Acts Mark E. Bassy, Lil Yachty, Kevin Garrett, Danielle Bradbery, Sir The Baptist, Bebe Rexha and Levi Carter are also on the bill for the event.

Last year's benefit show featured a similar display of talent including artists like the late Prince, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, T.I., Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Nick Jonas, French Montana, Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, Hit Boy, Vic Mensa and more. Primary tickets for Tidal X were considerably cheaper in the year prior, and ranged from just $74 to $244.
