Knicks' Holiday Plan Is Best Way to Save on Tickets at MSG This Season

The gift of giving will be the New York Knicks' modus operandi this holiday season.

With the team well in the hunt for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference entering December, fans can cash in on a promotional ticket bundle to upcoming games at Madison Square Garden. Known as the NYK Holiday Plan, fans can purchase tickets to five remaining home games this season for one set price, with the offer running through December 31. The plan is built to include a marquee matchup with the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers on February 4, which will be one of the biggest opponents the Knicks welcome through the end of the regular season.

And, perhaps best for fans, it will be a significantly cheaper route to take than going through the secondary ticket market.

The NYK Holiday Plan starts from $390 in select areas of seating. Six locations are available, ranging from the 100 Level Lower End to the Chase Bridge and East Balcony Lounge. To put that starting price in perspective, Knicks tickets on the secondary market will cost upwards of $200 just to get past the gates against the Cavaliers in February. In fact, no remaining Knicks home game owns a get-in price cheaper than $65. A January 19 game against the Washington Wizards will be the cheapest game at MSG with a $67 starting price.

Unlike many other ticket bundles throughout the league, the NYK Holiday Plan gives fans access to nearly every remaining home game, not just five pre-picked, set games. This gives fans the ability to mix and match what games work best for them, whether weekday matchups or the several weekend matinee games on tap through the end of the season. A slew of big games still remain, too, ranging from a Christmas Day meeting with the Boston Celtics, a February visit from the San Antonio Spurs and a battle with the crosstown Brooklyn Nets in March.

With the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose leading the charge through the winter months, the Knicks will hope to enter their first postseason since 2013. Fans can catch that excitement leading up to the playoffs with the NYK Holiday Plan, the easiest and most affordable way to attend Knicks games through the rest of the regular season.
