U2 'Joshua Tree' Stadium Tour Tickets On Sale Now

U2's Joshua Tree Tour is already shaping up to one of the hottest tours of 2017. U2 tickets went on sale today for the general public, and the resale demand has spiked significantly. As it stands, tickets across all of the upcoming tours dates are now averaging $485, with the priciest stops slated to be shows in Vancouver, Pasadena, and Hyattsville. Currently, the priciest show, which will be the band's May 12 stop at BC Place Stadium, is averaging a whopping $1339, with a get-in of $128. To compare, the cheapest show will take place on June 7 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, where tickets are averaging $293, with a get-in of $60.

Irish rockers U2 have announced the dates for a massive stadium tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1987 release, The Joshua Tree. The tour will be supported by Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, and OneRepublic on select dates.

The legendary band will perform the album in its entirety on each date of U2: The Joshua Tree Tour 2017, which will launch on May 12 at BC Place in Vancouver. The tour will run in the U.S. until July 1, with a final show in Cleveland at the FirstEnergy Stadium. U2 is also scheduled to appear at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 8-11.

U2 tickets go on sale Jan. 17 via Ticketmaster, and fans can expect to see high demand for the tickets on the resale market, where tickets will be available here.

The last time U2 hit the road was in 2015, following the release of their 2014 effort, Songs of Innocence. The band's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour ran from May 14-July 31 with several dates in major U.S. cities like New York and Los Angeles. The tour grossed a total of $152.2 million across all dates. Prior to their 2015 run, U2 toured extensively on the U2 360 Tour from 2009-2011. U2 360 became the biggest tour in history, with 110 shows that grossed $736.4 million and moved 7.2 million tickets.
