UPDATE 3/3/2017:

In late January, guitarists Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds announced that they will play a number of acoustic shows this spring & summer. The tour will kick off at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 3 and will include a pair of shows at Ascend Amphitheatre in Nashville on May 6 and 7. The tour will hit cities like Alpharetta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Canandaigua, Wantagh, New York as well as Holmdel, New Jersey. The tour will officially conclude following a show at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on June 18.

Tickets for the tour went on sale February 10 via Dave's site. Since the on-sale, many of the shows now have limited availability on the primary market, forcing fans to rely on the resale market for tickets. As it stands, tickets for Dave & Tim are averaging $292 across the stretch of dates, with the priciest shows set for Holmdel, New Jersey and Long Island, New York, where tickets are averaging $414 and $344, respectively. Tickets for both dates, however, can be purchased for under $100, and prices will drop as the dates grow closer.

Matthews and Reynolds have been releasing music and touring together as duo "Dave & Tim" for 18 years. Together, the artists have released three live, double albums. As of last summer, Dave Matthews Band has been on hiatus from touring and recording.

UPDATE 11/7/2016:
Dave Matthews has announced the "Stand With Standing Rock" benefit concert at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. on November 27. The concert will benefit the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and promote awareness to defend them from the Dakota Pipeline. "Stand With Standing Rock" will also raise funds for supplies and legal assistance for those who have been occupying the area near the pipeline since April.

Tickets for Dave Matthews went on sale for the general public on Friday, November 4, via Ticketmaster.

Tickets for the benefit have hit the resale market, and are averaging $248 for the night. The cheapest ticket can be secured for $126, and prices may rise as the event grows closer.

While the Dave Matthews Band takes a hiatus in 2017, guitarists Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will play a number of shows together. Most recently, the pair have announced a 15-show European Tour. The European trek launches at Eventim Apollo in London on March 20 and 21 and extends out until April 11 where it wraps in Porto, Portugal.

On February 23-25, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will take the stage over a three-night event on the beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico. The pair will perform three intimate shows during the weekend on the Caribbean coastline and Barceló Maya Beach.

The Dave Matthews Band concluded their massive 25th Anniversary Summer tour in September, and tickets were some of the most competitively priced of the summer, clocking in averages of $202 on the resale market. It is expected that Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds will announce U.S. dates in the upcoming weeks, and so fans can expect to see similarly priced tickets when they announcement drops.

The duo have performed together many times before in the past, playing some of their most expensive shows in the last year.
