Soundgarden to Launch 2017 U.S. Tour this April; Tickets On Sale

Grunge legends Soundgarden will launch a tour this spring that includes several festival appearances along the route. The band's release of King Animal back in 2012 marked their first disc in 16 years, and frontman Chris Cornell has alluded to a new album in the not-so-distant future.

Soundgarden tickets are available via TicketIQ, where secondary tickets are averaging $133. As it stands, the band will play their most expensive performance on May 22 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Colorado, where tickets are averaging $232 with the cheapest ticket going for $86. Conversely, the most affordable show is slated to be the band's May 10 stop at The Lawn At White River State Park in Indiana, where tickets are averaging just $66, with the cheapest ticket going for $47.

The tour will kick off on April 28 with a performance at the Tampa-based festival WXTB 98 Rockfest, where the band will peform alongside A Day to Remember, Piece the Veil, and Beartooth. The following day, Soundgarden will head to Jacksonville for the Welcome to Rockville festival, and on May 3rd, the tour will head to Atlanta, Georgia for a show at the Fox Theatre where The Pretty Reckless will open. The Pretty Reckless’ last show with Soundgarden will be on May 17th in Detroit, Michigan at the Fox Theatre. On May 6th, The Dillinger Escape Plan will join the trek until the run wraps up on May 27 in Pryor, OK.

Tickets for the tour went on sale to the general public on March 3, and are now available through SoundgardenWorld.com and ChrisCornell.com.
