2021 Atlanta United Attendance Policy

Atlanta United FC began the season allowing up to 30% capacity (21,250 fans) for their home games, but it was recently announced that starting on May 15th, the team would be allowing 100% capacity at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Health and Safety Protocols


Mercedes-Benz Stadium is requiring that all guests age two and up must wear a face covering at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking, which is only permitted in your seats). It is strongly recommended that fans arrive at the stadium wearing face coverings, and wear them walking to and from parking lots or public transit. All Mercedes-Benz Stadium associates are required to wear face coverings.

Please assure that your face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) follow CDC Guidelines listed here, including but not limited to:

  • Be made with at least two layers of breathable material
  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
  • Be secured around the face and allow the guest to remain hands-free


All ticket holders must agree that neither they, nor any of their guests, will attend an event if any one or more of the following is true on event day:

  • Within the prior 14 days, they have tested positive for, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  • Within the prior 48 hours, they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC);
  • Within the prior 14 days, they have travelled to any state or international territory identified by federal or applicable local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

All stadium guests are expected to maintain social distancing throughout the stadium. Fans should pay attention to signage and only site in their assigned seat to avoid fans that are not a part of their group by at least six feet.

Updated Atlanta United FC 2020 Schedule

Major League Soccer has revealed their schedule for the first phase of the return to play for the 2020 regular season.  The continuation of the season will have three phases and see each team will play an additional 18 regular-season games, with the first phase having most teams play six matches against regional opponents. This phase will run through September 14th.  The only exception to this is FC Dallas and Nashville SC who will play an additional three games to make up for those missed having to withdraw from the MLS is Back Tournament.

The regular season is set to run through November 8th. The playoffs, which will be expanded to 18 teams are scheduled to start on November 20th and run through December 12th. 10 teams in the East and 8 teams in the West will qualify due to the conferences currently being unbalanced with Nashville’s temporary placement in the Eastern Conference.

Phase 1 Schedule:

  • August 22nd vs. Nashville SC
  • August 26th at Inter Miami CF
  • August 29th vs. Orlando City SC
  • September 2nd vs. Inter Miami CF
  • September 6th at Orlando City SC
  • September 12th at Nashville SC

Phase 2 Schedule:

  • Saturday, September 19th vs Inter Miami CF
  • Wednesday, September 23rd vs FC Dallas
  • Sunday, September 27th @ Chicago Fire

How Much Are Atlanta United FC Tickets

On the primary market, the cheapest tickets to lower-interest games start at $22.  For the home opener against Cincinnati on March 7, primary market tickets start at $22 for seats on the 300 Level, which is the only level on which tickets are available. Among the higher-interest games, tickets to the May 3 matchup against Real Salt Lake start at $49, and go up to $266 for club seats in Section 110 at midfield.

On the secondary market, tickets to the March 7 season opener start at $31 for seats in Upper Corner 328, and seats are available throughout the stadium. Seven games have a cheapest ticket of about $60, including the May 3 game against Real Salt Lake. Fans can get into this game for $61 in Lower End Zone 120 on the field level. While Ticketmaster has primary market seats for this game exclusively on the 300 Level, TicketIQ has seats on the 200 and 100 Levels available. Club seats for this game start at $113 in Midfield Club 112, Row 31, and go up to $938 for seats in Row 1A in Midfield Club C126.

The average asking price for Atlanta United FC tickets is $87 on the secondary market, making this season the cheapest since the team’s inaugural season in 2017. The priciest average was $167 for the 2018 season when Atlanta United FC won the MLS Cup. 

Atlanta United Season Tickets & Multi Game Packs

Season tickets are sold out, but fans can get on the waiting list for future seasons. The team plays home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 

The Multi-Game Ticket Pack starts at $180 in Upper Goal sections and goes up to $220 for Upper Sideline seats. Fans get tickets to six games, including the season opener, and a discount off of single-ticket prices.
