2021 LA Galaxy Attendance Policy

Major League Soccer has not yet announced its 2021 schedule, but the season is set to start on Saturday, April 17. Dignity Health Sports Park is located in Los Angeles County, which as of March 3, 2021, was in California's COVID-19 Purple Tier, meaning that the team can practice and play, but that no fans will be allowed in the stadium. Because no fans will be allowed, at least for the start of the season, the LA Galaxy has not posted an attendance policy for the 2021 season.

LA Galaxy COVID-19 and Health and Safety Guidelines

Dignity Health Sports Park is not currently open for fans, and it is unlikely that it will be at the start of the MLS season on April 17. As of March 3, 2021, the MLS had not released a list of fan safety protocols, and neither had the LA Galaxy.

With that in mind, here is a look at what COVID-19 and health and safety guidelines fans could expect when the stadium does reopen:
  • Fans will be expected to practice social distancing
  • Fans will be required to wear qualified face coverings, likely no bandanas or masks with valves, while inside the stadium
  • It's likely that fans will be seated in small groups and asked to remain in those those groups should they leave their seats to get food or drinks or use the restroom
  • The stadium will likely be being constantly sanitized, and sanitation stations will be available to fans throughout the stadium
  • There will likely be a change to how food-and-beverage service is handled in order to prevent lines or much contact with other fans and stadium employees
  • There could be plexiglass barriers erected in some seating sections

What Is Mobile Ticketing Policy For LA Galaxy

The Galaxy offers digital ticketing using either the AXS or Galaxy mobile apps. Fans can transfer and manage tickets on either app. On the AXS app, fans can also sell tickets.
