Macklemore & Ryan Lewis To Embark On First US Arena Tour

July 11, 2013

Having recently become the first ever duo to reach the top of the Billboard charts with their first two singles, Macklemore tickets have now gone on sale for their first ever US arena tour.

Macklemore Tickets

The rapper and producer are currently promoting debut album, The Heist, across Europe with dates at Norway’s Hovefestival, France’s La Nuit De L’Erdre and Finland’s Ruisrock Festival all scheduled over the next week.

The pair will then return to North America in August for a mixture of headline shows and festival slots including Edmonton’s Shaw Conference Centre on August 8 (get-in price $107/average price $131) and the Budweiser Made In America Festival on Aug 31, where two day passes are currently available for $175/$231.

Following a more extensive series of European dates, the duo will travel back across the Atlantic once again to kick off the second US leg of the tour at Portland’s Rose Garden on October 22 ($97/$143). Stopping off at the likes of University Park’s Bryce Jordan Center on November 7 ($73/$102), New York’s Madison Square Garden on Nov 13 ($83/$126) and 14 ($79/$129) and the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on Nov 30 ($83/$123), the chart-toppers will take in a total of 29 cities, eventually finishing up at Seattle’s Key Arena on December 12 ($75/$179).

With an overall tour average price of $167, there are hundreds of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis tickets still available on TicketIQ with the Oct 29 gig at Omaha’s CenturyLink Center the lowest get-in price at $62 (average price $215) and the Nov 6 show at Columbus’ Schottenstein Center the cheapest average price at $100 (get-in price $82).

Supported by Black Star MC Talib Kweli and Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T., the tour will no doubt feature the majority of 2012’s The Heist including number one singles “Can’t Hold Us” and “Thrift Shop,” gay rights anthem “Same Love” and alternative versions of their collaborations with Band Of Horses frontman Ben Bridwell (“Starting Over”), Schoolboy Q (“White Walls”) and Allen Stone (“Neon Cathedral”).

But judging by their recent set-lists, fans with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis tickets should also expect to hear the odd track from 2010’s The VS. Redux E.P. (“Crew Cuts,” “Irish Celebration”) and Macklemore’s independently-released 2005 debut, The Language Of My World (“I Said Hey”).
