Tickets for the top Broadway shows featured this week remain in high demand as “Newsical” represents the top priced Broadway show for the second straight week.  The lineup will be familiar to theater fans as most of the top shows have made the list before.  However, Tony Award winning musical “Million Dollar Quartet” returns this week with more performances at the Apollo Theatre in Chicago.  Below are the top five Broadway shows of the week on the secondary market.

 

1/30 - Newsical | Avg. Price: $717.50 | Get-in Price: $632

For the second straight week, “Newsical” is the top priced Broadway show, as the 90 minute hilarious comedy show will be showing this Friday for an 8pm showing at the Kirk Theatre.  “Newsical” tickets have a current average price of $717.50 on the secondary market with a get-in price of $632. Tickets are now up 47%.

 

1/28 - Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime | Avg. Price: $688.60 | Get-in Price: $632

For four straight weeks, “A Curious Incident” finds its way back on the top shows list as Alex Sharp and Ian Barford star in this Broadway production.  “A Curious Incident” tickets for this Wednesday have a current average price of $688.60 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $632.

 

1/30 - Million Dollar Quartet | Avg. Price: $638.08 | Get-in Price: $515

A “Million Dollar Quartet” closed its Broadway run in New York in 2012, but it will return in Chicago this week at the Apollo Theater as the Tony Award winning musical is about a true story of a famed recording session that featured Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.  “Million Dollar Quartet” tickets this Friday have a current average price of $638.08 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $515.

 

1/31 - Cabaret | Avg. Price: $596.97 | Get-in Price: $350

“Cabaret” makes a return to the top shows list after a brief hiatus as Alan Cumming and Emma Stone star in this Broadway show.  “Cabaret” tickets this Saturday at Studio 54 have a current secondary average price of $596.97, with a get in price of $350.

 

1/28 - A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder | Avg. Price: $521.67 | Get-in Price: $508

“A Gentleman’s Guide” is featured on the top shows list for the fourth straight week as this Broadway musical will have a showing this Wednesday at the Walter Kerr Theatre. “A Gentleman’s Guide” tickets have a current average price of $521.67 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $508.
