2015 Texans Schedule: Patriots Most Expensive, Buccaneers Least Expensive Home Opponents

April 22, 2015

The AFC South has been dominated by the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans in recent years. Houston fans are hoping that a few offseason additions will help move them one step closer to overtaking Indianapolis for the AFC South division crown.

Entering the 2015 season, Houston’ most expensive home game on the secondary market will be its Week 14 matchup against the New England Patriots. The get-in price for Texans vs Patriots tickets is currently $93. There are many commonalities with these two franchises between both coaches and players. Houston, however, is desperately trying to find its franchise quarterback. With four quarterbacks on the roster, Houston may still be searching while New England will likely ride Brady for the remainder of his career.

Texans tickets will be slightly less expensive when the Colts come to NRG Stadium. Houston will host Indianapolis for Thursday Night Football in Week 5. Texans vs Colts tickets have a get-in price of $81. The Texans’ least expensive home game will be in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The get-in price for that game is $56.

Houston had a busy offseason and made several moves that have totally reshaped its roster. Long-time wide receiver, Andre Johnson was cut, but opted to sign with the Indianapolis Colts. Houston added free agent quarterback, Brian Hoyer and defensive tackle, Vince Wilfork. With Bill O’Brien at the helm, Houston continues to sign players that formerly played on the New England Patriots. Houston also added Cecil Shorts to provide some depth and stability to wide receiver core. Houston has a clear need for some more offensive firepower given the departure of Johnson and the age of Arian Foster. Houston has been linked to DeVante Parker, Breshad Perriman, Todd Gurley, and Melvin Gordon in the NFL Draft.
