Katy Perry, Elton John Team Up For I'm With Her Concert For Hillary Clinton

February 24, 2016

In the full swing of election season, endorsements start coming from all over the spectrum. While endorsements from current politicians -- between senators and governors -- typically hold the most weight in swaying an election, there's much more publicity around the endorsements from celebrities.

That will be taken a step further for a benefit concert with headliners Katy Perry and Elton John playing a show for Hillary Clinton at Radio City Music Hall on March 2. The show will be titled "I'm With Her" Tickets for the show start at $125 through primary markets, but there's tickets available on the secondary market for below face value. While the current listed average price is $180.80, the get-in price is $96.

Along with Perry and John, the Wednesday night concert will also feature a performance from Andra Day. Hillary Clinton, former president Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton are also scheduled to appear during the night.

Perry has long been a Clinton supporter, previously performing for at a rally in Iowa back in 2015. Per a report from Variety, Perry also offered to write a campaign song for Clinton should she want it back during a book tour in 2013.

Perry is longer on tour, while Elton John is scheduled to play some small various venues in March before returning to his The Million Dollar Piano residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in April.
