The Midwest region will go through Kansas City this season, and the No.1-seeded Kansas Jayhawks will hope to use that to their advantage.
Other top seeds looking to make a push to the Final Four in the Midwest include Louisville, Oregon and Purdue. Ticket prices are relatively steep across the region, with no round one session listed under $54 on TicketIQ. Interestingly enough, Milwaukee’s BMO Harris Bradley Center is posting the region’s biggest demand during round one with a Purdue vs. Vermont and Iowa State vs. Nevada session on Thursday. As it stands now NCAA Tournament tickets for that particular session average $210 with a get-in price of $95.
Kansas will play its first-round game against UC Davis at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday. With Miami and Michigan State also set battle in the later game, tickets for that session start from $56 each. No. 3 seed Oregon will face Iona at Golden 1 Center on Friday, where tickets average $101 and the cheapest are listed from $54. Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will host Michigan vs. Oklahoma and Louisville vs. Jacksonville State on Friday. Tickets to that game start from $60 each.
Round two games will be slightly more expensive in Milwaukee, Sacramento and Indianapolis, but there is value for the two games being held in Tulsa on Sunday. As it stands now the average resale price for BOK Center round two games is $173 with a get-in price of $58. The winners of East matchups between SMU and USC and Baylor and New Mexico State will advance to that second-round game.
The action will shift to Kansas City for Sweet 16 coverage beginning on Thursday, March 23. All Sessions Passes for both Regional Semifinals games and the Regional Final on March 25 start from $322 each. It will be slightly cheaper to buy individual session tickets for those two days, with Semifinal session tickets fetching for $154 and Regional Final tickets listed from $153 each.
