Top MLB Tickets Of The Week (6/1)

MLB ticket prices on the secondary market have increased in average price since last week as the New York Yankees are this week’s top priced MLB ticket when they host the Los Angeles Angels at Yankee Stadium this Sunday.  Four of the five games featured this week are in the American League, while the other is an interleague matchup between Minnesota Twins who host the Milwaukee Brewers this Saturday.  Below is a breakdown of each top MLB game on the secondary market on TicketIQ.

6/7/15 – Los Angeles Angels at New York Yankees | Avg. Price: $141.13 | Get-in Price: $19

The New York Yankees are just one game over .500 after losing three of four to the Oakland A’s.  After a three-game road trip with the Seattle Mariners, they come back to Yankee Stadium to host a three-game series with the Los Angeles Angels starting on June 5.  Yankees tickets for this Sunday’s series finale with the Angels are going for an average price of $141.13, with a get-in price of $19.

 

6/6/15 – Oakland A’s at Boston Red Sox | Avg. Price: $99.48 | Get-in Price: $35

The Boston Red Sox are currently struggling after losing six of their last seven games coming into a four game series with the Minnesota Twins. Even with no clear favorite, they will have to start winning to get back into the AL East race.  Boston begins a three-game set at Fenway Park with the Oakland A’s starting on June 5.  Red Sox tickets to the second game of this series this Saturday are going for a current secondary average price of $99.48, with the least expensive ticket priced at $35.

 

6/5/15 – Texas Rangers at Kansas City Royals | Avg. Price: $93.32 | Get-in Price: $30

The Kansas City Royals recently ended a four game skid after splitting two games with the Chicago Cubs. They now will host the Cleveland Indians for three games before hosting the Texas Rangers for a three-game series this weekend.  Royals tickets for the series opener with the Rangers this Friday at Kauffman Stadium have an average price of $93.32 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $30.

 

6/6/15 – Milwaukee Brewers at Minnesota Twins | Avg. Price: $91.86 | Get-in Price: $37

The Minnesota Twins had a very good last week of May, ending the month winning seven of their last eight games. They currently have a half game lead over the Royals in the AL Central.  They begin a three-game series with the Milwaukee Brewers this Friday at Target Field.  Twins tickets for the second game of this series have a secondary average price of $91.86, with a get in price of $37.

 

6/6/15 – Houston Astros at Toronto Blue Jays | Avg. Price: $69.13 | Get-in Price: $10
The Toronto Blue Jays, currently six games under .500, have two tough upcoming series this week with the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros.  Toronto kicks off their three-game set with the Astros this Friday and Blue Jays tickets to the second game of this series this Saturday have an average price of $69.13 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $10.
