James Blake Returns To North America For Fall Tour

June 3, 2013

As the darling of the dubstep scene, the demand for James Blake tickets has only increased this year following the release of his critically-acclaimed sophomore, Overgrown. Now North American fans can witness his quivering falsetto and spacious production up close and personal for a second time this year following the news he’s to embark on a 24-city tour this fall.

The London singer-songwriter, who was hailed as the antidote to Skrillex on his arrival in 2011, has only just completed his most recent US tour, which finished up at Atlanta’s The Masquerade on May 14. But the critical and commercial success of his second LP has inspired him to return to the other side of the Atlantic for a second batch of dates, starting at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern on October 22, which has a get-in and average price of $100 on TicketIQ. We also have a limited number of tickets available for Blake's stops at various House of Blues locations across the country including San Diego on October 24th, Houston on October 29th, and Boston on November 5th, and Manhattan's Terminal 5 on November 7th.

Fresh from festival sets at the likes of England’s Glastonbury, Australia’s Splendour In The Grass and the Drake-curated OVO Fest, alongside his own 14-date European tour, Blake will then take in the likes of Phoenix’s The Crescent Ballroom on October 25th, Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on November 4th and Iowa City’s The Englert Theatre on November 16th, before concluding at Portland’s Roseland Theater on November 21th.

Alongside two Canadian shows at Montreal’s Metropolis on November 9th and Vancouver’s Vogue Theatre on November 19th, the 24-year-old will also perform at Boston’s House Of Blues on November 5th, which is currently the only other date available to buy James Blake tickets for on TicketIQ, with a get-in and average price of $114. But be sure to keep checking back for updates on what is bound to be one of the most intimate live experiences by a major artist this year.

Having recently reached the Billboard Top 40 for the first time, fans with James Blake tickets should expect to hear the majority of Overgrown including lead single, “Retrograde” and Brian Eno collaboration, “Digital Lion.” But his recent sets have also included material from his Mercury Prize-nominated 2011 debut (“I Never Learnt To Share,” “The Wilhelm Scream”), the title tracks from his CMYK and Klavierwerke E.P.s and his unique cover versions of Feist’s “Limit To Your Love” and Joni Mitchell’s “A Case Of You.”
