John Legend Hits The Road For North American ‘Made To Love’ Tour

Coinciding with the release of his long-awaited fourth studio album, one of the finest soul singers of his generation will take to the road this fall following the release of John Legend tickets for a North American tour entitled Made To Love.

The nine-time Grammy winner, who will finally drop the Kanye West-produced Love In The Future on September 3, will first perform a trio of Asian festival dates and a headline slot at London’s iTunes Festival before returning to his homeland for a series of 21 shows.

Currently available at a get-in price of $87 and average price of $226, Legend will first take to the stage at Mashantucket’s MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods on October 20 and will then stop off at the likes of New York’s Beacon Theatre on October 28 ($100/$228)and 29 ($101/$174), Austin’s Bass Concert Hall on November 6 ($108/$202) and Denver’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House on November 21 ($103/$242) before winding up at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on December 1.

With an overall average price of $220, there are still hundreds of John Legend tickets available to buy on TicketIQ, with the November 7 gig at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie currently the lowest get-in price at $86 (average price $209) and the November 19 concert at Minneapolis State Theatre the cheapest average price at $161 (get-in price $87).

Supported by Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton, who releases her new LP, Love & War, on the same day as Legend’s follow-up to 2008’s Evolver, the 34-year-old will no doubt be keen to showcase his new material including recent singles, “Who Do We Think We Are” and “Made To Love.”

But fans with John Legend tickets should also look forward to hearing all the familiar favourites including debut single “Used To Love U,” the Grammy-winning “Ordinary People” and US Hot 100 hits “Green Light,” and “Save Room.” While recent shows have seen him perform his contributions to the Django Unchained (“Who Did That To You”) and Think Like A Man (“Tonight (Best You Ever Had)”) soundtracks and cover versions of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” The Beatles’ “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” and Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark.”
