Kanye West Hits The Road For First Solo Tour In Five Years
September 17, 2013
Having recently scored his sixth consecutive Billboard chart-topper with the most uncompromising album of his career, one of hip-hop’s true visionary figures will hit the road this fall following the release of Kanye West tickets for The Yeezus Tour.
The 36-year-old, whose previous Watch The Throne tour alongside Jay-Z was the highest-grossing in hip-hop history, will perform at 23 cities across North America over a seven-week period, starting at Seattle’s KeyArena on October 19 and concluding at Houston’s Toyota Center on December 7.
With an average price of $328, there are currently hundreds of Kanye West tickets available on TicketIQ for his first series of solo dates since the Glow In The Dark tour back in 2008, with the November 19 gig at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center the lowest get-in price at $98 (average price $429) and the November 29 performance at Miami’s American Airlines Arena the cheapest average price at $348 (get-in price $113).
Fans can also get their hands on Kanye West tickets for the shows at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on October 20 (get-in price $750/average price $750), Los Angeles’ Staples Center on October 26 ($395/$395), Chicago’s United Center on November 7 ($110/$379), Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on November 12 ($170/$409) and Dallas’ American Airlines Center on December 6 ($113/$369).
Joined by Kendrick Lamar, recently crowned the No.1 Hottest MC in the Game by MTV’s annual list, West will no doubt be keen to showcase the majority of his current sixth studio effort. But alongside the likes of “Black Skinhead,” “I Am A God” and “New Slaves,” the 21-time Grammy winner’s recent headline slot at the New York Governor’s Ball also featured material spanning from his 2004 debut, The College Dropout, right up to 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy including his first US Top 10 hit “All Falls Down,” his Daft Punk-sampling number one smash, “Stronger,” and solo versions of his collaborations with T-Pain (“Good Life”), Dwele (“Flashing Lights”) and Pusha T (“Runaway”).
