Options For Broncos Super Bowl Tickets Leading The Pack

November 12, 2013

Heading into Week 11 in the NFL all teams have played at least nine games, putting each team past the halfway mark of the season. As more games play out, the true contenders for the Super Bowl will start to emerge from the group of teams just trying to make the playoffs. The always popular Super Bowl tickets currently have a secondary market average of $3839.90. According to TeamTix, a ticket reserve service, the favorites to play on February 2 are the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

MetLife

Denver, with an 8-1 record, but currently seeded as a Wild Card team in the AFC have the highest reserve price on TeamTix. You can reserve the right to buy a face value Broncos tickets for a Super Bowl appearance for $440. The Broncos play the Kansas City Chiefs twice in the next three weeks, which could shift the road to MetLife Stadium to go through Denver in the AFC.

The NFC favorite Seahawks currently sit at 9-1 and are pulling away from the San Francisco 49ers in the race for the NFC West. Seattle has possibly the best home field advantage in the NFL, which makes Seattle’s place as the No. 1 seed in the NFC of great importance. Seahawks tickets can be reserved for and NFC-high $360.

Just behind the Seahawks in the NFC is the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have a game lead over the Panthers in the NFC South and the Detroit Lions for the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Saints tickets for the Super Bowl can be reserved for $200.

The No. 2 seed in the AFC is the New England Patriots and the market agrees as Patriots tickets are the second highest priced reserve price in the AFC. Super Bowl tickets for the 7-2 Patriots can be reserved for $180.

The 49ers are behind the Seahawks for the division lead in the NFC West, but will have the advantage in the first round of playing the winner of the NFC East in the first round. The 6-3 Niners will probably have a better record than the East division winner, which allows them an easier road to advance in the playoffs. 49ers tickets for the Super Bowl can be reserved for $190.

The AFC South leading Indianapolis Colts look to be heading to the playoffs for the second straight year. Even though the Colts handed the Broncos their only loss of the season so far, Colts tickets on the market for the Super Bowl does not come close to Denver Broncos tickets. Super Bowl tickets for the 6-3 Colts can be reserved for $125.

Even though the Chiefs have the best record in the NFL at 9-0, the market is expecting some regression in play as the reserve price for Kansas City Chiefs tickets for the Super Bowl can be had for just $95. The Chiefs could have home field advantage in the AFC until the Super Bowl as the No. 1 seed, but the market is giving four other AFC teams a better chance of playing in MetLife Stadium.

With seven weeks remaining in the NFL season, plenty of things can change. In the next three weeks if the Broncos can get past the Chiefs in the standings and game home field advantage, Denver could be even bigger favorites to reach the Super Bowl. Even other contenders like the Carolina Panthers in the NFC or Cincinnati in the AFC could emerge as bigger contenders than they are now. Regardless of what teams are represented in the game, demand will be high for Super Bowl tickets.
