The funk-rock veterans will appear alongside Danish dance-rock outfit New Politics, synth-pop duo MS MR, rock n roll quartet J Roddy Walston & The Business and indie trio Basic Vacation at the Barclays Center on February 1 for a show dubbed ‘Big Hello To Brooklyn.’

Hosted by New York sports radio station WFAN, the concert will wrap up the venue’s three day event, which also includes a championship boxing match between ‘Vicious’ Victor Ortiz and Luis Callazo on January 30 and a marquee game between Brooklyn Nets and NBA title contenders Oklahoma City Thunder on January 31, with tickets for the latter available at a get-in price of $65 and an average price of $395.

Anthony Kiedis and co., who will later travel to South America for several festival dates including Lollapalooza in both Chile and Argentina and the Festival Estéreo Picnic in Colombia, will no doubt perform all the highlights from I’m With You, the 2011 album which the band subsequently promoted with a two-year 136-date world tour.

But fans with Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets should also expect to hear material spanning from their 1984 self-titled debut right up to 2006’s double album Stadium Arcadium including their three US Top 10 singles, “Under The Bridge,” “Scar Tissue” and “Dani California.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets for this show, the band’s first in New York in almost ten years, are currently unavailable on TicketIQcom. But be sure to keep checking back for information on the band’s only confirmed US date in 2014.
