Paramore & Fall Out Boy Join Forces For Summer ‘Monumentour’

January 17, 2014

Having both rose to fame from the emo/punk-pop scene of the mid-00s, two of America’s most popular contemporary guitar bands will now join forces for the first time in their career following the release of Fall Out Boy and Paramore tickets for a co-headlining summer tour.

Described by FOB bassist Pete Wentz as an attempt to recreate the excitement of the Metallica/Guns N’ Roses and Monsters of Rock tours he used to watch as a kid, the ‘Monumentour’ will kick off at Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre on June 19, tickets for which are available with a get-in price of $26 and an average price of $52.

The coast-to-coast trek will then take in a further 35 shows including a single Canadian date at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre on June 25 ($36/$151), Tinley Park’s First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on July 11 ($40/$158) and Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach on Jul 29 ($36/$148) before concluding at Concord’s Sleep Train Pavilion on August 17 ($37/$178).

Paramore

With an overall tour average price of $174, there are still hundreds of Paramore and Fall Out Boy tickets available on TicketIQ with the Jul 25 gig at West Palm Beach’s Cruzan Amphitheatre currently the lowest get-in price at $25 (average price $184) and the Jul 6 concert at Maryland Heights’ Verizon Wireless Amphitheater the cheapest average price at $49 (get-in price $30).

FallOutBoy

Alongside a support slot from Danish punk-rock outfit New Politics, fans with Paramore and Fall Out Boy tickets should expect to hear ten years’ worth of hits and all the highlights from the former’s self-titled fourth studio effort and the latter’s comeback LP, Save Rock and Roll, both of which topped the Billboard charts in 2013.
