Motley Crue “Not Breaking Up” Despite Announcement Of Final Tour

February 3, 2014

2014 marks the last chance to catch one of the most influential rock bands of the late 80's and early 90's with the release of  Motley Crue tickets for their “Final Tour”. Legendary shock-rocker Alice Cooper will be tagging along to open the show.

Currently, the tour averages $216/ticket on the secondary market. The cheapest date on the tour is the Isleta Amphitheater in New Mexico with an average cost of $67 and tickets as low as $37. The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa is by far the most expensive stop, averaging $415/ticket. Only 2 other dates (Connecticut & Jacksonville) tally beyond $300.
July 21st marks the Crue's hometown show at the Hollywood Bowl while August 9th marks Cooper's nearest stop to Detroit at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. Surprisingly, both homecomings are on the cheaper end of the spectrum of Motley Crue &  Alice Cooper tickets, falling 15% and 12% below the tour average respectively.
Although they are sticking by their statement that this will mark the bands last tour, frontman Vince Neil insists the band is not breaking up and will continue to create music in studio and market merchandise. He also claims they haven't necessarily ruled out a reunion performance if (most likely when) the band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
