Ticket Preview for Heat's Upcoming Home Stand

February 19, 2014

The Miami Heat are coming off their second straight NBA championship and are going for their third straight NBA title this season. With the ticket prices skyrocketing this season, most Heat/NBA fans are going to fork up a lot of money to see this mighty team play.

After opening on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder tomorrow evening, the Heat will begin their post-break schedule with four home games.  The first home game that the Heat will play is against the Chicago Bulls this Sunday on a nationally televised game. The Bulls and Heat have a bit of a rivalry and this game should be very chippy. The average ticket price for Heat tickets for this game is $319.56 while the get in price for this game is going to cost you $76. The most expensive ticket (which is for courtside seats) is going to cost you $2,407. The Bulls are not the same team this year without Rose, but clearly they remain a big draw on the road.

The next home game that the Heat will play is against the New York Knicks four days later on Thursday, February 27th. According to Razorgator, the average ticket price for this game is right around $282.84 while the get in price for this game is going to cost you $45, much cheaper than the Bulls game (most likely attributed to this game being a Thursday night matchup, compared to a Sunday matinee.)

Two days later the Heat will face their in-state rival the Orlando Magic. The ticket prices will be much cheaper than the previous two games. The average ticket for this game is currently $261.67 while the get in price for this game is only $58.  The Heat will then wrap up their four game home stand with a matchup against Charlotte on Monday March 3rd.   The average price is $173.70 with a get-in of $33.
