There is no place better to see a concert than at the “Worlds Most Famous Arena,” Madison Square Garden. It has always been said that there is nothing like the Garden which is why all artists from young to old, rock to rap or even up and coming to established want to play their best shows there. Kicking off our list is none other than Madison Square Gardens record holder for most consecutive sold out shows at 12 in a row, the Piano Man himself Billy Joel. Last year the Garden announced that Billy Joel would become the first person to take up a residency at Madison Square Garden. Joel’s unprecedented agreement with MSG was to play there once a month through December of this year. Of all the shows that Billy Joel will be playing at MSG his April 18th concert there is his priciest at an average price of $579 with a substantial Get-in price of $158 after going up by 6% in the last week.

The following month Billy Joel once again performs at Madison Square Garden on May 9th for our second biggest NYC concert tickets of the spring. The May concert of his residency is going for around $50 less than his April showing there for both average ticket prices and Get-in prices at $531 and $103 respectively. Billy Joel tickets are up 7% over the past week and are projected to continue to rank among the priciest at the Garden for his upcoming shows as well.

Lady Gaga might have been on the losing end of an album sales standoff with Katy Perry but there can be no denying that when she performs in New York she is the Queen of Pop. When she comes to New York her “Monsters” go Gaga for her which is reflected in the average ticket price for her May concert at Madison Square Garden. When her artRAVE tour comes to the big apple tickets are going for $312 on average with a Get-in price of $75.

4/6/14 | Juan Gabriel | Avg. Price: $265 | Get-In Price: $89

On Sunday April 6th the legendary Mexican artist and six-time Grammy nominee Juan Gabriel will play at Madison Square Garden. Despite being at an age when most plan on retiring the 64 years old the singer has refused to slow down and just released his 53rd album Celebrando to go along with his upcoming tour. When Gabriel comes to the Garden he will do so in front of thousands of adoring fans who have caused a spike in ticket prices of 27% to raise the average ticket price to $265 with a Get-in rate of $89.

4/9/14 | La Mega Mezcla Live w/ Alex Sensation & Friends | Avg. Price: $193 | Get-In Price: $90

When it comes to Latin DJ’s in New York City there are none bigger than Alex Sensation. So when he comes to the Garden it will be sure to draw a huge crowd to see him as well as some of the biggest Latin artists such as Don Omar, Tony Dize and J Balvin at the La Mega Mezcla Live on April 9th. Last years event was a roaring success which has caused ticket demand to increase this year which has seen ticket prices climb to $193 on average with a Get-in price of $90.

Madison Square Garden was the home to some of the biggest and most influential concerts in music history such as the Concert for Bangladesh, The Concert for New York City and the 12-12-12 Concert.
