Dodgers Fans Hope 2014 Brings Them Glory

March 12, 2014

The Los Angeles Dodgers were two wins away from going to the World Series last year, but they eventually fell to the St Louis Cardinals 4-2 in the NLCS.  Dodgers fans are hoping that this is the year the team can get over the hurdle and make it all the way to the championship. With Matt Kemp hopefully back to health, and a full season from Yasiel Puig, there’s a lot of reasons to buy Dodgers tickets in 2014, including relatively cheap tickets for their opening series of the season.

The Dodgers start their home schedule season on April 4th against their hated rivals the San Francisco Giants. It should be a great game as both teams kick off the season. The average ticket price for this game is currently $215, but the cheapest price you can get is $19 which is not bad compared to other Opening Day games in large markets.

The second game of this three game set is even cheaper. The average ticket price for this is only $60 while the get in price for this game is $12, seven dollars less expensive than the first game. The final game of this three game set are about the same price as the second game, though fans will receive a Yasiel Puig Fathead with every ticket. The average ticket price for this game is going to be $56.52 while the cheapest price you can get is going to cost you only $12.

Dodgers fans have been waiting for a very long time for a title to be delivered to Chavez Ravine. Not since 1988 have they been able to declare themselves World Series victors.  But with stars up and down the lineup, and the best pitcher in baseball – Clayton Kershaw – on the bump once every five games, perhaps 2014 will bring an end to their waiting.
