As the home of the SEC Football championship, The Georgia Dome is closely linked to post-season play in one of college football’s toughest divisions. Since 1995, the Georgia dome has also hosted the SEC Basketball tournament 10 times. This year will mark the 11th, and perhaps final time, that both SEC championship are hosted in the same venue. Over the next ten years the tournament will take place in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena eight times. For the other two years, it will be hosted at either the Scottrade Center in St. Louis or the Tampa Bay Times Forum. SEC tournament tickets on the secondary market for the final Georgia Dome tournament for at least ten years have an average price of $102. That compares to an average price on the secondary market last year at Bridgestone Arena of $129.
