March 24, 2014

Set to release his 35th studio album, A Letter Home, later this year, one of America’s greatest ever singer-songwriters will first hit the road for a brief U.S. tour after releasing Neil Young tickets for eight acoustic solo dates.

The two-time Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, who has been working on the follow-up to 2012’s Psychedelic Pill at Jack White’s 1940s-era Voice-o-Graph vinyl recording booth, will kick off the short trek with a four night stint at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on March 29.

Following two performances at Dallas’ Meyerson Symphony Center on April 17/18, the Canadian rock veteran will then visit the Chicago Theatre on Apr 21/22 – Neil Young tickets for which are available with a get-in price of $116/$135 and an average price of $321/$304.

The 68-year-old, who recently launched his Pono audio system and download service at the South by Southwest Festival, will then head over to Europe with his regular backing band, Crazy Horse, for a series of headlining dates and festival sets at the likes of London’s British Summer Time, Norway’s Bergenhus Festning and Belgium’s Lokerse Feesten.

Fans with Neil Young tickets for his four-night run at New York’s Carnegie Hall earlier this year got the chance to hear several classics including his first US Top 40 hit, “Only Love Can Break Your Heart,” his sole Billboard chart-topper, “Heart Of Gold” and the Grammy-nominated “Harvest Moon” alongside various tracks he originally recorded with Buffalo Springfield (“On The Way Home,” “Flying On The Ground Is Wrong”), The Stills-Young Band (“Long May You Run”) and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (“Ohio”).
