Tokyo Police Club Announces US Tour

March 19, 2014

Canadian indie pop veterans Tokyo Police Club will be hitting the road alongside Geographer and Said The Whale for a 24 dates tour with the release Tokyo Police Club tickets earlier this month. The band will be performing new tracks off their new forthcoming album “Forcefield” along with their biggest songs of their 10+ year career including “The Nature Of The Experiment”, “Your English Is Good”, and perhaps their Queens Of The Stone Age cover “Little Sister” .

The tour kicks off in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 16th in what's the closest to a Canadian date of the tour (the band will perform at the Squamish Music Festival in August after the conclusion of the headlining tour). From there, the band will continue through the mid-west on their way out to California for shows at the Independent, The Echoplex, and Belly Up Tavern. Next the band swings through the states' southern tier, including Emo's in Austin. The east coast swing kicks off May 10th as the band performs at the Shaky Knees Festival n Atlanta on their way up to New York's Webster Hall and Cambridge, MA.
