Top 5 NHL Games Of The Week (3/17)
March 17, 2014
There is less than one month left until the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs begin and teams are in survival mode right now trying to make sure that they are one of the eight teams from their respective conference to get a chance to make a run at the cup. The fact that every team has 15 or less games remaining makes it so that these upcoming games have ballooned up to be four times as much as the average NHL game this week which clocks in at $107. The NHL’s Top 5 most expensive games of the week are:
1) 3/22 Montreal Canadiens @ Toronto Maple Leafs Avg $422 / Get-in $111 / Down 1%
Coming in head and shoulders above any other game this week is this Original Six game taking place Saturday night between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. Maple Leafs tickets for this game are averaging an astonishing $422 to make it 295% higher than the weekly average and over $150 more than the next closest game on our list.
2) 3/21 Carolina Hurricanes @ Chicago Blackhawks Avg $265 / Get-in $82 / Down 4%
At an average ticket price of $265 this Friday night matchup takes the second spot in our list. The biggest rivalry game of the week takes place in New Jersey when the New York Rangers travel across the Hudson to play the Devils.
