Breaking Down Some Stops On Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP Ball' Tour

April 8, 2014

Lady Gaga, who ended a seven-show residency at Roseland Ballroom Monday night, is the final performer to ever grace the stage on West 52nd street. Gaga, who has had her fair share of criticism from media outlets and fans alike during her career, received many positive reviews during her stay at Roseland. The “Applause” singer put an end to the historic Roseland Ballroom but is gearing up for Lady Gaga's ‘ARTPOP Ball’ World Tour, which begins in early May. Gaga’s stint in New York has allowed her world tour tickets on the secondary market to rise 5.3%.

The ‘ARTPOP Ball’ will make a stop at Philips Arena in Atlanta May 6, and the date has seen one of the tours biggest increases in ticket sales at 9% since her Roseland residency began. Lady Gaga Atlanta tickets have an average price of $247.96, 4.4% above the average tour price of $237.44. While the average ticket price for this particular date is higher than other stops on the tour, there remains a steady $50 get-in price for the majority of her shows.

Lady Gaga will return to her native New York May 13, playing one of the tour’s most expensive shows at Madison Square Garden. Lady Gaga New York tickets have an average price of $338.81, 42.6% above the tour average, but still cheaper than the average price for the first night at Roseland. Her July 19 date at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will prove to be the most expensive stop on the tour, with an average secondary market price of $339.21. However, MSG’s get-in price is a hefty $82 compared to MGM’s $50.

Fans looking to see Lady Gaga on the cheap will have luck at Boston’s TD Garden June 30, which is one of Gaga’s least expensive dates in a major city. In fact, Lady Gaga Boston tickets are 15.6% below the tour average with an average price of $200.28, however, the get-in price is slightly higher than tour average, going for $57. The Chicago tour stop on July 11 will exceed the tour average with an average price of $327.14 and a lower-than-average get-in price of $49.

Gaga’s stint on the West Coast in mid-July serves as the most interesting price shift on her tour. The “Poker Face” singer will play back-to-back nights at Los Angeles’ Staples Center July 21 and 22. Lady Gaga Los Angeles tickets will have an average ticket price of $331.10, with a get-in price of $52. The second night’s ticket prices show quite a drastic change, as an average ticket price will go for just $189.09, about 20% below average, with an above average get-in price of $57. Staples Center will be the only venue holding back-to-back shows on Gaga’s tour, and it is likely that tour prices will even out as the dates get closer.

As the historical Roseland Ballroom closes its doors for good, Lady Gaga bids farewell and gears up for a world tour that is sure to impress fans all across the world.
