Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience World Tour" Adds More Dates
April 7, 2014
Just weeks after Justin Timberlake tickets went on sale for a series of shows with Jay-Z, the former ‘N Sync star has now announced he is to embark on his first solo tour in six years to further support his third studio album.
The 32-year-old, who will join the Jigga Man for 15 shows, including a set at London’s Wireless Festival, as part of the Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour in July/August, has already confirmed 23 North American dates for The 20/20 Experience Tour, with more expected to follow.
Kicking off at Montreal’s Bell Centre on October 31, Timberlake will then take to the stage at the likes of Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on November 29, Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse on December 11 and Denver’s Pepsi Center on January 22, in addition to a second Canadian date at Edmonton’s Rexall Place on Jan 13, before concluding at Omaha’s CenturyLink Center on February 10.
There are thousands of seats remaining on TicketIQ for his gigs with Jay-Z, with a get-in price low of $63 for the August 6 concert at Detroit’s Ford Field and an average low of $217 for the August 16 performance at Miami Gardens’ Sun Life Stadium. Justin Timberlake tickets are also now available for The 20/20 Experience World Tour as well, with prices starting at $60 and averaging $254.
Having just scored his second consecutive Billboard number one LP and the fastest-selling album of 2013, expect to hear plenty of material from his current Timbaland-produced effort including comeback single, “Suit & Tie,” UK number one “Mirrors” and the track he recently performed at the Grammy Awards, “Pusher Love Girl.”
But fans with Justin Timberlake tickets should also get the chance to hear several other new tracks, following the recent news from his RCA label that a quick follow-up album will hit stores on September 30.
The Social Network star, who will also appear on the big screen in crime thriller Runner, Runner and The Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis during the tour’s run, also performed the best of his back catalogue during his recent one-off shows at London’s The Forum and the SXSW Festival including his trio of US Hot 100 chart-toppers, “SexyBack,” “My Love” and “What Goes Around… Comes Around” and his debut solo single, “Like I Love You” alongside cover versions of INXS’s “Need You Tonight” and The Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground).”
