Every summer all music fans everywhere go on their festival circuit, where some opt for the celebrity appeal of Coachella and others go for the rustic nature of Bonnaroo. While those big ticket festivals offer a lot they are also pricey. Many concert goers may choose instead smaller and more local festivals. One such festival in only its second year is the Silopanna Music Festival presented by the Rams Head Group. This festival is being held in Annapolis, Maryland on August 16th.
The 2nd annual Silopanna Music Festival this year features headliner The Flaming Lips with Dashboard Confessional, Matt and Kim, and Hellogoodbye rounding out the top of the bill. Annapolis locals and alternative rock heroes Jimmie’s Chicken Shack will be returning to the Silopanna Music Festival after playing the Inaugural festival in 2012. Not just about music, the festival will feature lots of food vendors and craft beer. Fans should get their Silopanna Music Festival tickets as soon as possible.
General admission tickets purchased before April 25th are only $49.50. Ticket prices then increase to $59.50 if bought before August 1st and after that the tickets raise to their full price of $69.50. VIP tickets which include such amenities as private seating, private cash bar, air conditioned bathrooms, and a dinner buffet cost $150 until August 1st where it rises to $175. All in all this is a very good deal and for music fans in the Maryland/Virginia area this is a can’t miss. Full line-up of artist listed below:
