Forbes: Prices For Bruins And Canadiens Tickets Skyrocket For Their 2nd Round NHL Playoff Showdown

One of the best rivalries in the NHL is about to write another chapter in their storied history as the Bruins and Canadiens are set to face off in the 2nd round of the NHL playoffs. Ticket prices for the series are way up and we broke down that ticket data on Forbes. Here is some of the article:
Bruins playoff tickets at TD Garden have the higher average price for the series at $526.33 on the secondary market. The Bruins also have a significantly larger amount of tickets available on the secondary market between the two teams. The average price for Montreal Canadiens playoff tickets at the Bell Centre during the second round is currently be $448.73, 15% below the average price in Boston.
With the overall average ticket price for the series currently at $522.09, both teams will experience more than a 50% increase in secondary ticket prices during the second round at home. Montreal’s Bell Centre saw a $290.93 average ticket price in the first round, marking a 54% price increase for the second round. The average ticket price for first round Bruins games was $263.88, just about half the price of their second round bout with the Canadiens.
Both of these prices will also be well above the regular season average at home this season. Bruins playoff tickets for this round will be 220% above the secondary market average in the regular season. Canadiens tickets will be 122% above their regular season average.
