Foster The People announce Spring Dates in support of “Supermodel”
With the recent buzz around new single “Coming Of Age” and numerous slots of festivals across the US, Foster The People will ride the momentum with a short North American tour this spring. It'll mark their first US tour since 2012.
As the long awaited followup to 2011's critically acclaimed “Torches”, “Supermodel” is set to start off where their Gold record left off. If the lead single “Coming of Age” is any indication, then fans are in for more Indie-Pop influenced by genres spanning alt-rock, surf, and dance.
Currently, on the secondary market Toronto's Massey Hall currently totals the most expensive at an average of $212 per ticket. This number shouldn't be too surprising, as “Torches” went platinum in Canada. The Chelsea, which is located at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas is the cheapest date of the tour, averaging $110. Houston's Bayou Music Center has the most tickets available, with 200 tickets listed. As a whole, Foster The People tour tickets average $168 each across 12 shows between April and May.
Besides the headlining tour, Foster the People will be making appearances at Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Governor’s Ball, and The New Orleans Jazz Festival. They will also be headlining the Counterpoint Festival and The Big Guava Festival (with support from The Violent Femmes).
