Lorde Returns To North America For New Fall Tour Dates
After selling out her 16-date tour back in March, New Zealand’s biggest pop export will return to North America this fall following the release of Lorde tickets for a mixture of headlining and festival dates.
The 17-year-old, who last month picked up Top New Artist and Top Rock Song for “Royals” at the Billboard Music Awards, will first take to the stage at Chicago’s Lollapalooza on August 1 – tickets for which are available on TicketIQ at a get-in price of $153 and an average price of $220.
Following a performance at Montreal’s Osheaga on the same weekend (3-day passes $389/$788), the two-time Grammy winner will then kick off her own run of shows at Philadelphia’s Mann Center on September 5, later taking in the likes of Toronto’s TD Echo Beach on Sept 12, Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House on Sept 22 and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on October 6 before finishing up at San Diego’s Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theater on Oct 10.
Fans can get their hands on Lorde tickets on TicketIQ for her Oct 9 gig at the Santa Barbara Bowl ($149/$202) as well as her sets at Boston Calling on Sept 6 (490/$249) and Austin City Limits on Oct 10-12 (weekend passes $253/$528) , with tickets for the rest of the tour expected to be released any time soon.
The US chart-topper has promised “For those of you who saw me first time, this is gonna be something different. I can’t wait to show you what I got planned.” But those with Lorde tickets should still expect to hear the majority of her 2013 debut album, Pure Heroine, while Canadian indie-pop duo Majical Cloudz have been confirmed as support.
Currently, we only have tickets available for the performances here, but cheek back as more and more seats hit the secondary market. For a full list of tour dates, scroll down to the bottom of this post.

Lorde Tickets Available For First North American Tour
Capping off an incredible year which has seen her transform from virtual unknown to four-time Grammy-nominated chart-topper, one of New Zealand’s biggest ever musical exports has now released Lorde tickets for her first major North American tour.
The 17-year-old, who only made her live US debut back in August at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge, will kick off 2014 with a one-off date at her Auckland hometown and a handful of gigs in Australia before travelling across the Pacific for a 15-city trek which begins at the Austin Music Hall on March 3 (get-in price $95/average price $95).
Lorde, real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor, will then take in a further 14 shows including a two-night run at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on March 11 ($87/$117) and 12 ($83/$118), a single Canadian performance at Toronto’s Sound Academy on March 15 ($105/$105) and the tour’s lowest get-in price date at Detroit’s The Fillmore on Marchfmar 16 ($69/$130) before wrapping up at Oakland’s Fox Theater on March 26.
There are still hundreds of Lorde tickets waiting to be snapped up for the tour which is then expected to lead directly into various summer festival dates, with April’s Coachella rumoured to be a distinct possibility.
Fans with Lorde tickets should of course expect to hear the majority of this year’s debut album, Pure Heroine, which peaked at No.3 on the Billboard charts in October. But alongside the likes of new single “Team” and “Royals,” the nine-week US Hot 100 number one which has now been nominated for both Song and Record of the Year at the Grammys, her recent shows have also included tracks from her The Love Club E.P. (“Biting Down,” “Bravado”) and covers of The Replacements’ “Swingin’ Party” and Kanye West’s “Hold My Liquor.”
