Previewing The 2014 Denver Broncos Schedule
July 22, 2014
Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos came up short in the Super Bowl last year, but head into 2014 with their sights on the big prize once again. Naturally, the Denver Broncos schedule is slated to be particularly brutal given their recent success. It starts in week one with a rematch with Manning’s old team, the Colts, and that’s really just the tip of the iceberg.
Denver does have the luxury of playing their first two games of the year at home, but the Chiefs give them their second stiff test in a row in week two, while they travel to Seattle for a rematch of the Super Bowl before a week four bye. The Broncos don’t have it a whole lot easier the rest of the way, as they have the Cardinals, 49ers, Patriots and Bengals to prepare for, as well as two games versus the Chargers and another against the Chiefs. Denver is still locked and loaded, but putting up a third straight 13-3 season certainly won’t be easy.
