Previewing The 2014 Seattle Seahawks Schedule

The defending Super Bowl champs aren’t going to shy away from anyone. Their style of play is smash-mouth and that hasn’t changed, while they still have one of the league’s most balanced attacks on either side of the ball.
That doesn’t mean the Seattle Seahawks schedule for 2014 isn’t one to be feared, however. As mighty as the ‘Hawks have been the past couple of years, the NFL has clearly gone out of their way to make sure Seattle doesn’t have it easy as they try to defend their title. As if the NFC West wasn’t tough enough, the Seahawks get to open the 2014 season against the Packers, Chargers and Broncos in their first three games of the year.
The most crucial point of Seattle’s schedule will come in the final six weeks, however, as they take on a solid Eagles team and battle within the NFC West an insane five times. The meat of that run is naturally two dates in three weeks with their bitter rivals, the 49ers.
