Gerard Way Announces Tour Dates

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way is embarking on his first ever solo tour across the U.S. this fall. Though My Chemical Romance broke up in 2013, Way continued to write and record music with his solo debut record Hesitant Alien due out on September 30th on Warner Bros Records. The tour has only 8 dates and has an average ticket price of $116.37. The tour kicks off in San Francisco at the Fillmore on October 12th. This show has an average ticket price of $98.50. The tour then has a pair of shows in Los Angeles the first one on the 13th at the Troubadour. This show by far has the highest average ticket price of $339.50.
The next day Way stops at the Fonda Theatre in LA which has a far cheaper average ticket price set at $77.20. On October 17th the tour heads east with a show at the Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia and then on the 19th with a show at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. These shows have average ticket prices of $101.31 and $91.20 respectively. Way will play Irving Plaza in New York City on October 20th with an average ticket price of $94.20.
The New Jersey native will then head to his home state with a show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville on the 22nd. This show unexpectedly has an average ticket price of $113.40, very close inline with the tour average. The final show of the tour is back in New York on October 23rd this time at Webster Hall.
