Fresh from scoring her 13th consecutive US Top 10 album, pop’s ultimate diva has revealed she will be hitting the road for the first time in five years with the release of Mariah Carey tickets for a world tour named The Elusive Chanteuse Show.
The 44-year-old, who reached No.3 on the Billboard 200 last May with Me. I. Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse, has so far only confirmed nine dates across Asia but has promised her fans in North America and Europe that further shows will be announced over the coming weeks.
The five-time Grammy winner’s first major trek since 2009’s Angels Advocate tour and her first in Asia since 2006’s The Adventures Of Mimi will kick off at Tokyo’s Makuhari Messe Arena on October 4 and will then take in venues across Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines as well as her debut performance in mainland China at Beijing’s Workers Stadium on Oct 10.
The fans lucky enough to get their hands on Mariah Carey tickets for her most recent live showing, a private concert at France’s swanky Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, were treated to several of her 18 US number ones including “We Belong Together,” “Always Be My Baby” and “Touch My Body,” and a rendition of her current single, “You Don’t Know What To Do.”
But alongside an exciting mix of her biggest hits, the New York singer has revealed that those with Mariah Carey tickets for her upcoming tour can look forward to several “fan-favorite album cuts and never-before-performed selections” from her current LP, and has also teased the possibility of showcasing some brand new material too.
