Jets Monday Night Football Game Vs Bears Is Cheapest Game At MetLife This Season

September 22, 2014

Tonight's Monday Night Football match-up has the New York Jets hosting the Chicago Bears at MetLife Stadium. Surprisingly, Jets tickets for the game are the cheapest of the year. Despite their solid performance over the first two games and a primetime showdown with the Chicago Bears, tickets for the game are currently starting under $25 and are the least expensive Jets tickets for the season. For more on the game, check out this article we published on Forbes earlier today:

the average price for Jets vs Chicago Bears tickets is $114.46, 44% below the season average for Jets tickets at home this season. Much of that season average, however, is tied to games against the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers later in the season. The $256.18 average price against the Broncos in Week 6 is 25.5% above the Jets’ season average and Jets vs Steelers tickets in Week 10 have an average price of $228.86, 12% above the season average. The Jets share a stadium with the New York Giants and even as Sunday’s Giants game against the Houston Texans was the least expensive Giants game of the season, it was 105% more expensive than Monday night’s game.

The get-in price for Monday night’s game is currently $25. No other home game on the Jets schedule this season has a get-in price below $40.

Chicago is one of the most expensive teams this season both on the road and at Soldier Field. This game will be the least expensive road game for the Bears this season. The next lowest price for a Bears road game comes Week 17 in Minnesota. Bears vs Vikings tickets at TCF Bank Stadium have an average price of $157. No other games the Bears will play this season, either home or away, have an average price below $200.
