Electric Daisy Carnival Confirms 2015 Las Vegas Dates
November 19, 2014
EDM fans will soon be able to get their hands on 2015 tickets after organizers confirmed that the three-day Electric Daisy Carnival will once again hit Las Vegas next summer.
Over 345,000 people attended this year’s spectacle at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, reportedly injecting $250 million into the local economy, and a similar number is expected when the event returns to the same venue on the weekend of June 19-21.
The carnival has continued to grow in stature since it first debuted on the festival circuit at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall back in 1997, and is now hosted across the year at several locations including New York, New Jersey, Florida, Puerto Rico, London and Mexico City.
But it’s Las Vegas which remains the flagship leg, and although the hundreds of DJs, producers and vocalists who will take to its seven stages have yet to be announced, Electric Daisy Carnival tickets are expected to sell out as soon as they go on general release in the first week of December.
If the line-up is even half as impressive as 2014’s, then those lucky enough to get their hands on EDC tickets are in for quite a treat. Alongside headline sets from superstar DJs Calvin Harris, Avicii and Tiesto, Vegas audiences also enjoyed sets from DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ Poll winner Hardwell, veterans Carl Cox, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold, and hotly-tipped emerging talents such as Julio Bashmore, Oliver Heldens and Le Youth.
