Smashing Pumpkins Add Chicago & Las Vegas Dates To Mini World Tour

Billy Corgan's new Smashing Pumpkins lineup has announced two additional US tour dates for their mini World Tour surrounding the release of new album “Monuments to an Elegy” available on December 9th.

The Pumpkins added a Thanksgiving Eve bash at Chicago's Thalia Hall and a December 13th engagement at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. Tickets for Chicago went on sale today while Vegas is on sale November 25th. Both shows are expected to quickly sell out just like the other dates on the tour.

With “Monuments to an Elegy”, the long awaited Smashing Pumpkins album set to released on December 9th, frontman Billy Corgan has put together an all-star band for a series of tour dates surrounding the album's release.

Former Rage Against The Machine & current Black Sabbath drummer Brad Wilk will hold down the rhythm section for Corgan and Jeff Schroeder alongside The Killers bassist Mark Stoermer for one-off performances in Berlin, London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles.

Having previously been announced to perform during Day 2 of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, these new dates will preceded that star-studded show with the only other state-side engagement scheduled on December 8th at New York's 1,500 capacity Webster Hall. Additionally, the new Pumpkins line up will also be performing on Jimmy Kimmel live on December 10th and the South American Lollapalooza festivals. It remains to be seen if this incarnation will embark on a full 2015 North American tour.
