This week’s top indie shows come from synthpop singer St. Lucia who will play in Washington D.C. on the 25th. English band The 1975 will stop in Austin, Texas and Alex Clare will play at the Neptune Theatre also on the 25th. On the 26th Anberlin will play their final show at the Orlando House of Blues and on the 28th Augustana will stop at the Loft in Atlanta, Georgia.
11/25 - St. Lucia at the 9:30 Club - Limited Tickets Available
St. Lucia is the name of electronic and synthpop singer Jean-Philip Grobler from Brooklyn, New York. The singer will play the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. on the 25th and will play a second show at the venue on the 26th. Openers include other New York City base electronic bands The Knocks and HAERTS. So far these are the singer’s only announce shows for the year.
11/25 - The 1975 at the Austin Music Hall - Limited Tickets Available
English rockers The 1975 will play on the 25th at the Austin Music Hall in Austin, Texas. The band released their self-titled debut album last year to much acclaim. The band who is on tour with openers Cruiser and Young Rising Songs will play a string of Southern shows all week with a show in Houston on the 26th, Chattanooga on the 28th, and Atlanta on the 29th.
11/25 - Alex Clare at the Neptune Theatre - Limited Tickets Available
Electronic musician and singer Alex Clare most known for his smash hit “Too Close” will play on the 25th the Neptune Theatre in Seattle, Washington. The singer released his second full-length album Three Hearts back in August is on tour with singer Taylor Berrett. Alex Clare will also play The Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Oregon the following day on the 26th.
11/28 - Augustana at the Loft - GA - Limited Tickets Available
Alt-rock band Augustana released their fourth full-length record Life Imitating Life back in April. The LA natives will play the Loft in Atlanta, Georgia on the 28th this week as part of their tour in support of their new album. Augustana along with openers Scars on 45 and Colony House will also play the Workplay Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama on the 29th. Fans should expect to hear some older favorites like “Boston” and “Stars and Boulevards”.
11/26 - Anberlin at the House of Blues Orlando Avg Ticket Price $183.16 Get-in $52
Anberlin will play their FINAL SHOW at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida on the 26th. The band that released their new album Lowborn over the summer will effectively go on an indefinite hiatus after more than ten years together as a band. The average ticket price is set at $183.16 but fans can get in for as low as $52.00. Expect an emotional show from Anberlin who are central Florida natives while playing both new songs and fan favorites.
